Post your combos and E.T.s

New best this year. 12.05, can't remember the mph. Lost in second round by reaction time alone, I was faster but he got me good on reaction time. Sorry, my 13yo was recording. This is with cut outs and the cam that mad cadder designed for me.

Let him drive. You record.

two questions. What did you weigh in at, and what rear tires are you running and did they fit in the un altered wheel wells? I know that's 3 questions but I lost track

Weight is unknown but can't be much from stock since the engine is the only thing that's changed, full interior with added 44" sunroof and heavy seats from a 99 Eldorado with power everything(lumbar and headrest too). Tires are 28x10.5x15. Unaltered wheel well but had to cut a little of the chrome trim off on the inside. Not any part that's showing, just on the inside. Have maybe an inch before it touches the frame on the other side.

We got a corvette for him. Track rules say 14yo can be in a car that's "close to stock" only. The corvette is definitely slower but not stock. It will sound stock though.

Who's rods? What length? How long have you been running them? I mean, how many runs on them? I want to run aluminum also. What about your oiling system?

MGP, 7.200
I’m about 45 right now, but they told me they’re good well past 100 at my power level.
Used Petersen gerotor dry sump pump, 3 suction, 1 pressure. Home made tank 13 qts oil in system.
Roller cam bearings.

I also want to run aluminum. But on the street with a blower. I guess it's time to start calling some of these companies.

I don’t think I would personally. Unless you’re shooting for 1500Hp+ good steel rods do everything you need them to. There’s a lot of 6 second bracket dragsters with steel rods out there.

The facts have been presented by people on here several times. I run aluminum rods in my race car. I have run steel rods in blown engines on the street and track. Steel is your best bet but if you really want to say you run aluminum then run one of the best three . GRP, MGP, or BME . Enjoy.

Last time out track was bad so my 60 ft was over 2 seconds. Got a noise in the motor now, but no hurry to pull it and fix it. THE TRACK IS BEING BULLDOZED TO BUILD A TOYOTA FACTORY ON THE SITE. Just goes to show you, it's always something. Closest track will be Dallas. 300+ miles away. Seems like something is telling me "it's time".

Well that sucks...
but at least the plant is here and not in Mexico.....

Looks to be street racing is going to make a big come back. And not the TV BS either.

I think you have a point there.

The closest track in Pasadena texas is in Baytown and it's closing .Rumors are that the land is worth more than what racing makes. I dont
know but if you havn't a place to run street racing will be more popular.
