Flywheel clearance & oil mods

Another oil modification is the reserve pressure vessel canton manufactures. Set the electrical control valve to dump the reserve pressure at full throttle with micro switch on carburator secondary linkage. Also Titan uses dual pickup feeds on many of their oil pumps. Oil on vs oil out.
Cadillac factory type screen with cover off. A 17/32 hole. Allows oil when screen fills with factory valve seals. Also in subzero temperatures.

I have the Canton on the race car with manual valve and 60psi in air chamber. I have been using these (Moroso version in the early days) since 78'. Putting one on this stude is an excellent suggestion.

Here's a Mid sump pan converted to rear sump from Larry K. Part of my oil control journey led me to oil pan front depth and oil drainage to sump.
The H beam rod bolts were glancing off the front area of pan along centerline. These are pictures of modification I made. Notice also oil pickup tube side of pan. That area needs modification to clear 1" od oil tube.
