Cadillac Kickdown Switch

I have a cadillac kickdown switch on ebay and told them that it was no longer available.  An eBay wrote to me and told them they were.  I thoght I would pass on the word.


These are available from www.GMpartsDirect.com part number 1496165. Should be available from a GM dealer too. List price is $44, and sell online for $26.

Just to show you honest Ted I had to write to the bidders and tell them this and I also posted it on my ad.  My high bid was $40, oh well.

I thought, that the caddy's had the kick down switch on the intake by the carb...  but looking at that pic it doesn't look like the ones I've seen.

Yes, that is the switch. It bolts to a larger bracket which then bolts to the intake.
