Typically One full coil will drop "most" GM cars about 2 inches. Spring rate increases slightly as coil gets shorter. But, if it had a tendancy to bottom out before, it'll really do it now. I generally pick a somewhat stiffer "Street Stock" type coil and cut to set the ride hieght. And an increase in roll stiffness can only help a Caddy. It also helps baffle the Rice Rocket crowd in the twisty bits,hehehe!
 
Had another thought on the front end lowering, 2 possible options; drop spindles or air springs to replace coils.

Did a search on the drops and there are a few possibilities and I'm not sure what is the best choice. Maybe mid 90's Chevy Impala, it would be nice to hear from someone who has done this successfully or knows for sure what works, not just heard or was told by a buddy, but 100% sure. From what I have been able to find out so far possibly a Bellteck 2100 or 2105 2" spindle replacement could work.

The other option of the air shocks just for the front would be interesting, or WTH all the way around. I could be a guy with a remote control making the old girl dance up a storm in the local parking lots. Not sure I should go there.

Never did fix what was loose in the engine, a real crime against the car on my part. Let it somewhat fall apart although fixable.
I don't have the energy (79) or time to work on it now. Looking for a hot rodder to bring it back.
