What vehicle(s) do you drive?
1933 Chevy roadster
New to the forum, hello from the frozen north! In the past I have picked through the info you have provided to learn more about the stepchild of Cad motors. The more I researched the more I liked the ole gal! I do not own a Cadillac car, just the engine, a 1964 429 ci engine from an Eldorado. It sits in a 1933 Chevy roadster hot rod. I bought the car a few years ago as present to myself for paying off the mortgage. The gentleman who built the car lives in Palmer Alaska, to the north of where I am here on the Kenai peninsula.

He has built several hotrods, and at the car shows people would give him the business of why he didn't have a Cad motor in his cars, reasoning he was a used Cad mechanic, so he set out and built this car over one year. I call it Chevordillac! Body and frame are 33 chevy, front axle early Ford I beam, rear is from a 1957 Ford wagon, 9 in. 3.51/1 gearing. engine as stated before 1964 429, trans is original to engine 1964 Bick Super Turbine 400 w/ adaptor ring. I have made some changes, mostly adding bling to the box and update distributor and carb, Street demon 750 cfm. Also, custom exhaust manifolds and side pipes, new wheels Boyd Coddington smoothies, 15x5 w/ Diamond back radials, big and little.

The wx can be a challenge driving a roadster in Alaska, missed a few car shows from the drizzle. My present desire is to replace the intake manifold, but not wanting a log type manifold w/ multiple carbs. Pontiac gaskets are very close, so trying to find an aluminum manifold on the cheap, some cutting will be required. I'll quit for now, hope this was not a sleeping pill!
