I can't remember who it was but there's a member here who works for a parts store...so this is for him AND anyone else who would know
I need to find out the extended & compressed size of a rear shock for a 1973 Cadillac Coupedeville.......
Thanks in advance.........

I just looked at Monroe's website......they didn't give the measurments that you want but here's what it did say.....
f:4  AK16 Adaptor Kit is required when replacing Air Adjustable Shock Absorbers on cars equipped with an Automatic Leveling System.
f:K  This part number is pair packed/priced and includes air line installation kit (AK-18) when required

If all replacment shocks need these adapters and the adapters are not made the same, the shock lengths, from one manufacturer to another, may be a little different.......probably not by much though.

The Monroe part number they list for a '73 Deville (rear) is 5820.
