Searching for some answers from those of you that have seen, tried or used the Sanderson Cad600 headers (right side a rear exit and the left the "Y" style). MTS is having Sanderson build a prototype driver's side that would mirror the passenger side rear exit one.
Have there been swaps that this would have worked (or worked better) than the "Y" header? I know the early 60's Cads the Y hits the steering box but was wondering about others like "G" bodies and trucks. Any input would be appreciated. Will most likely send the prototype around to people to see if they would work and if so will make a large run of them

I don't have any real input yet except for the stock passenger side is pretty weird.  I sticks out a lot more than the other one and also exits high, so it would hit right into my firewall even if it did clear the frame rail.

I was looking at what you are doing, my main concern would be the starter.  I don't think you can mirror the driver's side and still miss the starter.  Maybe I'm wrong, I will try to see when I have more time.

And while on the subject, has anyone put a set of those cad 600's on a '70 deville?  Wish I had a set to look at on my power wagon swap, my r/h manifold is an interference problem w/the frame's upper flange
