- What vehicle(s) do you drive?
- 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60
Hello all,
New guy to the forum and to Caddy's in general but not to the automotive industry. Been a mechanic for many years (20+) until the evil overlords transitioned me to IT. Pays the bills but I still work on cars as a hobby and now have a decent size shop with lots of toys to do major work on vehicles. Recently, I acquired a '64 Fleetwood Series 60 with the "special" 429 that was only made a few years and this particular one has some issues all its own. Unfortunately, the car was solid as a non-runner. Pulling the engine made it clear why that was the case. Cracked block in the flywheel area. So, I am here to learn more about options for a new power plant.
Thanks in advance for any info provided from here on out,
