All,

For mounting turbos to manifolds, and downpipes to turbos. Studs need to be 10mm 1.5 pitch on one end, and 10mm 1.25 on other. Need to have very little unthreaded section in middle. 1" or so of thread on each end would be great.

I ASSume that they'd hold much better than bolts. I hate to buy ARP, as I'm cheap. I checked my friendly local shop that sells Dorman, and he said that they didn't carry metric.

TIA
Dave

You might try looking in the Fastenal catalog.  Their stores don't stock everything, but they can get just about anything.

If you dont come up with something from fastenal you might get lucky at a motorcycle shop. I have been a parts manager for Kawasaki, Honda and Suzuki and always took the time to help a customer with this kind of request. Most have the same part number prefix for bolts, thats assuming you can find a guy who wont look at you like a kook when you tell him what youre doing.

Doug,

No studs from fastenall. The do have set screws up to 30mm long, which might work.

Shakedog,thanks for another option.

I'm about ready to use allen bolts, rather than studs/nuts.

Try the lower motor mount studs from an old aircooled VW,I know they took a 17 mm nut.... I can't remember if it was  8mm or 10mm stud.
