Just wondering about the quiet. Where is everyone?

Just to fill some space here, I had oral surgery this morning due to an infected tooth root which then infected the surrounding bone. They had to give me general anesthesia to cover the "jack hammer" duty necessary to remove the bone.

Hey, did you know that when cadaver bone is used in such cases to pack the now vacant area, that it is ground-up cadaver bone? After packing that in, it does not stay to become a part of you, but it spurs the growth of your own new bone. The things you learn. Oh well.

Best to everyone,

bro.

Bro d:
If I were you I would not have let them use a cadaver bone, I would have rather let them use the jawbone of an ass. Much closer to reality than a dead person's bone. Hopefully a long ways off.
Ciao,
Mario

I just recently leaned that, at least in part. My bro-in-law had a tooth pulled some years ago. Afaik, the jaw bone shrinks where the root was. If a implant is desired later, they open the gum up and insert "crystals" [fancy name for dead persons bone]. I did not know that it spurs growth of your own jaw bone. Interesting.

(printing labels for "male enhancement" as we speak. now off to the cemetery)[/QUOTE]

LOL!!
I want to buy into that financial venture!! In fact I'd love to do a testimonial as a past user of the product who could then offer living proof.

How many inches are you trying to grow?
This could be an interesting testimonial :D

I suppose it brings new meaning to "long in the tooth". Somebody go buy a new car so we have something else to talk about!
