There seems to be some interest on this Forum about the GMC Motorhome so I added this category (thanks Tom for the spelling) so at least we could post links. Would like to see some links or topics about Cadillac 500 Conversions or Suspension/Brakes upgrades. If you feel this does not belong on our forum let me know.

Suspension Rebuild - also the same as Eldorado

Oh Man,Guys,Being an Eldo driver my whole life and working as a
touring concert sound engineer my whole career was riding in a tour
bus.I want a 23 side bath bad.I had my wife in a Gadabout,which is
the Coca Cola version and she loved it and its a go if we can ever
find one reasonable.I just can;t deal with people having to go around
to the rear bath.Just so you all know they range in price from 12k
to over 100k! only 1973-1978

Aw right!!!

When it comes to GMCs, I will talk forever...........
First, if you want one, now is the time. Prices for recreational vechicles are in the toilet. Some are
even farther down tnan that. Of course, if you buy cheap, you'll probably have to do some work
and spend some money.
The good news is, to put a Cad in, you have to drill two new holes in the front crossmember for the
front mount(68 to 72 Eldo), re-arrange the wires and make a couple of easy exhaust pipes.
There is a ton of info on the motorhome photosite, www. gmcmhphotos.com.
Also, descriptions of modifications on Gene Fisher's site, http//:users.sfo.com/eagle.

The GMCs fit in, so much work is going on with the transmissions & engines which transfers directly to 67-78 Eldo (and the Toronado). Fuel injection upgrades are a big one, power with economy. Bruce Roe

I guess this would include Cadillac based MH's too, so how about the Star Streak II that made it into the RV/MH Hall of Fame?
