G-body Hoods?

I seem to recall before the board crashed that someone had some G-body hoods and parts for sale. If there still available I may be interested. Also, would hoods from say an El Camino fit another G-body and vice versa? Thanks in advance for any input or response.

I think Montiac had a hood for a montecarlo for sale

The hoods for G bodys are not interchangeable
 
I had an aluminum hood for a 78-80 "A/G" body cutlass for sale a while back, but its long gone. I keep my eyes open for stuff like that when im at the junkyards.

Some years of Malibu/El Camino might swap, at least I was told.

Monte/Elky hoods front bumpers and im sure a few other parts interchange as its the same front end
Im trying to find a glass repo of the 80 front air dam with no luck tho...damnit
Looks swoop and they actually tested it in a tunnel....supposedly it werked :thumbup:
 
Monte front bumpers/hoods are not the same as El Camino. They will not interchange. All the Monte Carlo bumpers are plastic from 78-up and the hoods are contoured different. You must me thinking of Malibu/El Camino interchanging    :twocents:
 
Yup I meant malibu...glad someone caught that...ive even got a couple of them...

Sorry for not responding to the photos you sent me. I'm up to my rear end in alligators at work and home.
Still waiting for the front yard to dry out, and make some more repairs to the septic pipe.

The photos look exactly like what I envisioned 3 yrs ago. Looks good.

Think about all the work you did on the headers, and consider ceramic coating them. I was going to do
that, cause I would take the 9mm to my skull if I did tons of work, and 3 months later they looked like
someone puked on them. Worth the money in my opinion, and may pick up a few hp in the process by
keeping in the heat.

You will of course drive the Regal up to my house, so I can see and hear it, throw up in my driveway,

The 4th one down has an AC delete panel, has anybody done this?  Must be a heater delete also?

The bottom link has the scoop I put on the T-bird (SC124).  I made a frame out of flat iron for the inside with studs sticking out to make it stronger and easier to bolt down.  Other than that I thought it was a good product.  I also laid it on my Cutlass for fit and it looked/fit pretty good.

Haven't done it with their plate. I just knocked the heater box cover off (That takes a lot longer than you'd expect) and made a template out of cardboard. I cut it out of sheet aluminum and used pop rivets to hold it on (mostly in the original holes plus a few where it looked like they were too far apart.

I don't see how it wouldn't be a heater delete too. The fan and heater core are under there.
