exhaust gaskets

I used the fel-pro exhaust gaskets , and after a short time some bolts loosened up and the gasket blows out.  This is not the first time this has happened.. In the past I have used no gasket and thats what I'm thinking of doing again.. Does anybody have a gasket that won't blow out? maybe out of copper ? What have you guys done?

Try using chassis grease as a sealant. I used it on my engine with good results. No gasket, just grease. When it got hot it turned hard and sealed a gap that had leaked before. Hope that helps.

I use Al's copper gaskets.....same set in and out many times for four years.

Ultra Black silicone here. Works good so far. Gotta scrape and reseal if you take it apart though.
