I have an assortment of Cadillac 472/500 big block engines and parts.
1) 1975, 500 in.³ quick overhaul long block, cleaned everything up, checked bearing clearances, hounded the cylinders, lapped the valves, port match the heads, install a used comp 270 Magnum, cam and lifters, cut the valve guides down for valve sprinkle clearance and installed matching springs and retainers for the camshaft. Installed new gaskets. Had a job change and a move and this long blocks been sitting around on an engine stand for about seven years. It has the mid sump oil pan from the 77 to 79 Deville’s and the oil pick up was verified to have proper clearance to the bottom of the pan, and the rods were clearance at the front part of the pan with light dimpling as this pan was originally from a 425 which has the same shorter stroke as the 472 so you have to check that and it’s been done. It’s been stored dry and inside and the cylinders were oiled and it still turns over. $500 (Headers not included)
2) Cadillac 472/500 street Rod Shorty headers in stainless steel. $50
3) Cadillac 1974, 472 was removed from a square body conversion because of a knocking Rod engine still turns over rebuild core $300
4) PRW SFI certified flex plate for Cadillac 472/ 500 engines. Never ran mocked up on an engine still in new condition. $50
5) Cadillac 500 block and crank not sure of what year. Needs full machining definitely a core. It’s from an El Dorado due to the oil pan. $200
6) Cadillac, 500 El Dorado rear sump oil pan and pick up tube. Required for converting a front sump 472/ 500 for engine swaps or rear sump applications. $300
7) Cadillac 472/500 120 cc open chamber ported cylinder heads with 2.11/1.77 Pontiac valves. Fresh, not run. Ready to install. Unsure of Valve Springs specification, and they would need to be checked to make sure they are compatible with your cam. $1850
8) Set of forged Ibeam rods with ARP cap screws ($350)
9) Basic RV/ truck cams ($100 ea.)
10) CadCo ProCad 640H cam kit…pretty radical cam and lifter set 248 at 50 duration, .550” lift on a 108LSA. Also new old stock lifters from the early 2000s. With the proper oil, you shouldn’t have any problems. These aren’t the newer Chinese lifters. You can even see the foot is hardened on these, perfect condition. $475
11) MSD Pro Biller Cadillac 472/500 low use. Excellent condition. $275
12) Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold $375
13) MTS Single Plane intake ported for Bulldog Aluminum heads. Has special bolts and spacers included. $450
14) CADCO DS12121 Steel manual transmission flywheel for Cadillac 472/500 engine with manual transmission. See attached photo from CAD 500 parts.com this is new in the box. The box has seen better days from a couple moves, but the item is a new condition. $325
