I like were he said I wont sell the care to somebody who wont take care of the car. Then he goes on to say he cant take care of the care.
So he will keep the car uncared for, rather than selling the car or trade to someone who wont take care it?
He was high when he put the ad up.

First '70 Eldo motor I've ever seen with smog pump holes in the ends of the heads. I suppose that's why it also has the smog
pump crank pulley. I guess it takes that to get 592 cubic inches.

Actually the price may not be off the mark. If it's the real deal. And doesn't need A crap load of other work. Electrical in an old Jag is a nightmare times 1000. Most V8 conversions were hack jobs.

My sneaking suspicion is it’s just an eBay rebuild kit with the cam “upgrade”

I’m unfamiliar with the British car values or the wiring issues, but seeing as none of the factory gauges or wipers function and neither door opens from the outside...I think he might be shooting too high. I don’t usually buy a car without at least one door that functions from the outside and one from the inside (doesn’t have to be the same door)

I am actually strangely attracted to that as an engine color as well, it does look really good...just maybe a bit too much green all at once with the engine stand picture
