The Jeep gets great mileage ! Of course it's only a 4.0 fuel injected little engine. The Caddy is getting around 15, which is better than it did in the DeVille !

What vehicle(s) do you drive?
472 Caddy in a ‘75 Jeep J-20 TH-400 Dana-60 100LL

So, if you wanted to build that big block Caddy into a max MPG machine, and get about 28 MPG, what would it take?

Proposed Highway Plan for best Miles Per Gallon or Running Good and Lean
==================================
Fuel injection
2:56 highway gears
Big Grunt Low RPM cam
472 block
Lowered 1968 Caddy DeVille with improved aero package
Solar Panels on the roof and rear deck
Super T-10 Four Speed

Thoughts?

I already have a low ratio rear, 2.50:1 in a Currie 9 inch....... And the old Caddy Deville was 5300 lbs title weight, so my Elco is likely in the 4200 lb range... Maybe why the gas mileage is better !!:)
