I have to get a block bored and align honed for main cap straps and halo. Then build the tube around itNone on test stand. I will road test it someday. Only because I made it. .875 id has been in use for years here and it works well.
Winter time causes me to attempt new ideas. Im gearin up for hells gate Larry Hale type steel tube intake this winter. The flanges are on the way. Hey did you see the oil trough on the cadmaro pan? Hows your oil pickup tube coming along?
After looking after all of your marvelous fabricating and well executed application I'm led to believe that you aren't married, are you?I had a hydraulic roller erode the engine block at the camshaft cam flange surface. I made a bronze bushing and machined the block .060 for the bushing surface. This is the tooling I used. Travers tool Company catalog hs cutters. I made the bushing on drill press with a circle cutter using bronze sheet. A torrington bearing can be used instead of bronze. When I made the mechanical roller cam blanks I machined the camshaft flange for the bearing. The cam you have now is too hardened to countersink for the bearing. Lots of nice parts you have there.
Hey 5one9. I have a bronze taper insert and thick steel oil tube flange with oring thats yours to use for being a cadder pushing the envelope if you want it.I have to get a block bored and align honed for main cap straps and halo. Then build the tube around it
