On the longer vehicles it might be a case of 'bragging' about length.

For the small cars it could be simple 'length envy.'

Just speculation - no personal issue either way.:D

You may be onto something there. Captive audience in a parking ramp because you have to drive past just about every row and compare.

    8ad-f85,

Regarding that question of etiquette: I propose that is simply a matter of gender. If 'male', please stay seated. If 'attractive female', amuse me. Either option will be acceptable. :)

I started to say that someone has been "jamming" with you - but then I remembered the trust of this thread.

"High Protective pistons.....I assume you mean hypereutectic pistons?

Why did Trans-dapt use fine threaded bolts on their bellhousing adapters when literally no one does from the factory? I wanted to use my stock bolts w/studs.

They probably want a bit more clamping. Some of the trans adapted street driven cars I've had have a tendency to loosen up.
If you aren't watchful of it you will eat a lot of flexplates.

Sometime (not often maybe) the manufactures do things logically. Lordy, we may have just found one of those times! ;)
