I know there are a couple of threads here regarding the external line to the rear gallery "
    taps"
for oiling enhancement. Anyone now where they are/were?

Yes thanks that was it. Does anyone out there remember anyone who had some improved results from the additional oiling such as no longer burning (what ever was being burned out) something?

    You are welcome.

The drilling required to make the balance lines pretty much guarantees that you are doing a full rebuild, it would be hard to get an “A-B” test.

That said I believe that the balance lines go hand in hand with the other oiling mods like pump passage porting, bypass blocking, as well as shimming/swapping the pump spring. And if your truly die hard you can also groove the mains (there is a thread by the madcadder).

Also there are two other options (that I know of) if you start to go beyond the stock pumps capacity which for most isn’t needed. That’s a titan pump or a wet sump belt drive

Might want to try and send him a PM. I don’t think he hangs around here that much anymore

The thought is, this allows for pressure to be equal front to back.

One side feeds one main and one rod on front and same on back. [2 mains 2 rods]

The other side feeds 3 mains and six rods

Simplest this is a 3/8" steel line from front to the pressure gauge port. That would be a big help imo.
