Thought someone might have a pickup tube for a '76 Eldo 500 oil pan laying around. I bought a pan but it had no tube with it(the guy got one of those neat-O finned alluminum pans and had to use the tube lol).

Thanks- John

John,

Melling no longer makes the early eldo tube.

You can make one from a '77-'79 mid sump tube, which is still sold new for $25-$30 ish. Cut, add a straight 5" piece, move hold down tab back one main. 3/4" tubing from harware store works.

John,

58FS1 is the melling number, ASSuming that it's still made.

Here's a thread showing the midsump tube. It will work, cut the tube in the section close to block, add 5", tab moves back on main. Some weaking req'd to get screen flat and located properly above sump.
