Woosh,No shore power where I am in Key Largo.Had to run the Onan and AC for 3 F-ing days straight. It
used almost 25 gallons of gas and almost a quart of oil.Pretty impressive actually as it has been 90 degrees in the shade.

    24 gallons in 3 days = 8 gallons in 24 hrs? That's .333 gal/hr. Pretty darned good imo.

If it were a vehicle going 60, that's 180 mpg, right?

    180 mph x 5280 ft = 950,400 × 12 = 11,404,800 ÷ 60 = 190,080 inches per minute
    32.5 ×3.14118 = 102.08705
    102.08705 ÷ 190,080 = 1861.94037 rear wheel rpm
3.7 gear × 1861.94037 = 6889.17937 rpm. Then factor in tire growth and
converter slip . Yep I can do it.

My Wife sezs I have some kind of problems with numbers. I just don't see it

Oh no.....you've made an error my friend. Pi is 3.14159 rather than the 3.14118 you have in your second line of multiplication (tire diameter). That is unless you are using a secret racin' formula......

Terry (I'm in this club too) lol

I seem to have used incorrect mathamatical grammer.
190,080 inches per minute ÷ 102.08705 inch wheel circumference = 1861.94037 wheel rpm

You're all wrong. The tire lying flat might have a dia of 32.5, but when its rolling its FLAT
on one side. The rolling circumference is determined by the length of the belt inside, much
like the length of a track on a tank. Bruce Roe
