Is it just me? I can't update my profile

I poked around in all of the profile menus and the one place that I would think I could update my profile (i.e. profile pic, location, background info) I get an error "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action." Is it just me? I get that message when I click on my account name in the upper right or if I click on my profile picture in "Your Profile Page."

Give it a few days and you'll be able to make changes. We just had an idiot sign up recently and post a picture of his genitalia as an avatar along with all kinds of other garbage nobody wanted to see.

On a related note (no puns intended)...I was locked out of my account for a few months before your ownership of the forum.
I made a new alt. account with a similar user name.
It took months for the new acct to get approved and in the interim, I changed Net services and have no access to that email.
Since I can no longer use the email acct attached to this current profile, I'd like to switch the email from my newly approved alt. to the email attached to this acct.
How can I do this?

Thanks for the info Fanatic. I have no problem waiting it out.

F85 if you hoover over you account name in the upper right a menu comes up. In that menu there is a link named "contact details." Click on that link and it looks like you can change your email address there but I haven't done it so i can't be sure.

The issue I'm having is that it won't let me change it to an email being used for another account, which I'd like to kill off (if I could only remember THAT password, lol)

How long do we have to wait? I signed up Nov 14 and just tried to post a build thread and it immediately disappeared. I had some time invested in that post haha. Understand the reasoning. If I pay the $30 to be a supporting member will I still have to wait? Thx

You don't need to pay anything to post. Your first post had images and new member posts with links or images get moderated. If that weren't the case, you guys would be clicking on links to malicious websites and seeing pictures of stuff you don't want to see... It's a security feature and a necessary evil. Your post has been approved...

Did you ever get your profile set up? I have the same issue doesn't allow me to put a prolie pic.

And does anyone know how long it takes for admin to review and allow a new post, I understand why but a little slow.....
