Hola everyone!

After 10 years I'm finally back in a big block classic cadillac. My 65 is long gone, and my 56 never got a motor and is also long gone. But now I'm back, with a 48 Club Coupe, 10 more years of wrenching experience and now an exceptionally strong running 500 Cadillac pulling me around.

Question is, the previous owner swears up and down that he replaced the bad 472 he originally put in this car with a 513CI build from MTS. It looks pretty good from the outside, has some fairly easy to identify parts that MTS would have used on it, but does anyone know a way that I can identify one of their builds? Marty is long passed, the new guy who owns the place is apparently a scammer of some sort, and I'm at a loss. The internet has basically been scrubbed of any good info I can find via dead links and parked domains.

Thanks!

Before Marty there was Al who had MTS and sold it to him. I had got some stuff from Al ... If you ever have the valve covers off some pictures of the rocker set-up could time date it. And the casting numbers of the heads to know what you got... Will it run on reg. gas?
