I am about to install dual electric fans on my aluminum radiator to keep my Hudson/Caddy 500 cooler.
Would the outlets in either the rear corner of the driver-side head or the plug on the front passenger-side just below the thermostat housing (see pics) be better?
Thanks

Thank you Darius, I guess my question based on my unfamiliarity with Cadillacs was simply...Can a fan temperature sending unit be placed in either of these holes , is there water behind them? And would either hole give a truer temperature reading than the other?
Thanks for your help.

Use a thermoclutch fan with shroud. Biggest that fits. Cad500 = BTU's!

You are showing pics of an oil galley port and a metal temp sensor blind hole from what I can tell. Use the one on the thermostat bypass just below the distributor or drill and tap the flat area to the side of the thermostat water inlet like the later 368 and some 425 engines do.
