I have heard that BBC distributors are not that far off from BBCad, close enough that you can machine a BBC MSD distributor to work in a Cad. That is what they used to do in the 90s before MSD made a caddy only distributor. This is just what I have read, I haven't tried it myself.

A Pontiac 455 distributor looks significantly shorter than the Caddy under the mounting flange. The 454 looks way longer.

DUI has 2 cad versions, MTS had a cad electronic distributor, MSD has a couple of versions and by the way the Cad distributor gear is the same as the BB Chebby. If not it has been fooling my cam for over 500 miles.
