    Might look cool with a lift kit...or as a hovercraft.

    Folks have done every modification of the corvette fiberglass one could imagine.Guys are working on a Duramax conversion.These GMC guys are worse than Mopar guys,they love them.

    Curious what kind of mileage they're getting out of a Duramax swap.
    I've worked with a few 36' Mopar 440's, increasing the mileage significantly.
    I believe there's more improvement to be had with the 500 Cad over the Mopar.

    Olds 455 or 500 cad is the norm.I t meant the mopar guys are mopar guys.same as a proud gmc owner at a campground next to million dollar bricks.

    I knew what you meant about brand enthusiasm.
    I can definitely see the advantage of Olds 455's and Cad 500's.
    Wondering more about the Duramax? Seems rather involved.

    Thank you.

    I got that 440 to 12+ mpg, and I feel that both the 455 and 500 have some very distinct advantages over it.

    Now that there's a "tow pig" thread going, I don't have to derail this one any further!
