Re: Edited ; Reducing parts pile

I edited sold items from list, and added a bunch of add'l items.

Again, please do not post here, PM or email me.

Thanks.

Well that Bug deal was one of those special deals that don't happen along very often.

Maybe it was because a spoiled rich kid had the Bug and wanted the lathe worse.

Either way it made for an extra nice weekend. :cloud9:

I figured Dave would be out spreading his profits around soon.

Muddying, so I'll add.

Profits? lol I'll break even, maybe make 32 cents an hour for my time. Lots of shelf space and paypal account padded though. I will probably buy more stuff, but I am going to try to buy only what I am sure to use in a somewhat timely fashion.

I am bored with current engine in truck. Imo, there is only a 1/10, maybe 2 left in it with a slight traction issue yet to be resolved. 1.59 sixty, so it's not that far off for a 11.66, but it was wadding the tires in low.

1. Std bore 120cc head 87 engine back in with 2.11/1.77, more porting, slow ramp cam and stock rockers

2. Same as #1 except 502 pistons for 539", 9.5-1 ish with above 120cc.

3. Same as #1 or #2 except "better" rockers and faster ramps.

4. Buy Tom's pistons, make for 10.8-1 ish with current engine [68cc chambers], everything else same.

5. Ford intake on #4 or current 11.7-1 engine.

6. Potter intake, cut welded intake ports at p-rod with #4 or current 11.7-1 engine.

7. flat tops and more compression with current heads and ford or potter.

8. Re-turbo. Several options there, all more serious that 1st attempt, depending on what sells on ebay.

#1 looks best with 3.08s, 13" switch pitch, drive around. lol
