60's cadillac rear axle

does anyone know if a posi unit can be swapped to another center carrier with a different gear ratio? I am working on a 57-69 center carrier. I have a 3.21 posi and would like to move the posi to my 3.36 gear. I understand that the ring gear rivits would have to be drilled out. But there doesn't seem to be anyway to remove the posi unit and ring gear from the carrier. Also if anyone has a 3.77 carrier I would be interested. Thanks, Roy
