Hi all. Anyone need and 472 or 500 engines/parts? I have parts and complete engines. Both 472 and 500 engines, including several 1970 500 ci with the 094 crank. Next year will be last season of minimod tractor pulling, and need to downsize.
I am in Shippensburg, PA.
I will cry if they go to the recycle center.

Hi PJ McCoy
How many set do you need - with or without pistons attached? :)
I have about 8 complete engines, parts from about 10 disassembled engines

Hi 48Austin
Only have full sets of stock rods. Do have (7) - 7.100 x 2.375 x .990 pin - H beams, and (8) - 7.100 x 2.500 x .990 pin - H beams from two different sets of same rods.
I now run different rods and pistons with a .100 over block and a 472 crank.

What is 2.5 ? Big end thickness? How many pulls on each? will they stand up to an 8:71? For now 1to1.

Hi 48Austin
Big end of 3 rods from one set are .635 wide, big end of 5 from other set are .620 wide. About 10 pulls on each set in a n/a engine - alcohol, no power adders allowed.
Cannot guarantee that, but these are hefty rods, H beams are 1.375 wide x .630 thick, all with ARP 2000 bolts.

What are the 2.5 #s then.. Never dealt with these #s before, let my machinist deal with it. And what are you looking to get for them? Was looking into aluminum from either BME or https://www.rrconnectingrods.com/

Since I am not a machinist' this looks like more money involved than if I were to purchase a full set new right off.
