Cadillac today unveiled the CT6 V-Sport, the first-ever V-Performance model of its top-of-range sedan. The introduction of the high-performance variant coincides with a makeover of the entire CT6 lineup that incorporates the newest iteration of Cadillac’s design language featured on the Escala Concept. The Cadillac V-Sport portfolio currently includes the CTS V-Sport and the XTS V-Sport.

The CT6 V-Sport boasts an all-new Cadillac 4.2L Twin Turbo V-8 Cadillac -estimated at 550 horsepower (410 kW) and stunning 627 lb-ft of torque (850 Nm) that elevates the CT6’s performance to a new plateau and offers drivers an unparalleled experience behind the wheel. The engine is a clean-sheet design and introduces unique design elements developed to balance performance and efficiency with compact, mass-efficient packaging.

Starting today, drivers in the greater Los Angeles and Dallas metro areas can enroll in BOOK by Cadillac, a first-of-its-kind luxury vehicle subscription service that gives members access to a variety of Cadillac vehicles on a month-to-month basis with no long-term commitments. The availability of BOOK by Cadillac in these new pilot markets comes on the heels of overwhelming demand for enrollment in the New York metro area, where the program launched earlier this year.

“Since BOOK by Cadillac was first introduced, we’ve seen widespread enthusiasm and demand from consumers who are seeking ways to complement traditional methods of buying or leasing a vehicle,” said Melody Lee, Global Director, BOOK by Cadillac. “BOOK by Cadillac has introduced entirely new customers to the brand and has been fully embraced by younger audiences as an innovative service that meets their ever-changing needs. Introducing the service in Los Angeles and Dallas is a natural evolution of the program.”

BOOK by Cadillac members in Los Angeles, Dallas and New York have access to a curated selection of vehicles — now including the CT6 PLUG-IN. With BOOK by Cadillac, members can experience the thrill of performance driving in an ATS-V or CTS-V, or explore their local countryside from the driver’s seat of an XT5 or Escalade. The addition of CT6 to all fleets also means members will now have the opportunity to experience Super Cruise, the first true hands-free driving system for the freeway.

Cadillac Global Sales Rise 16.5 Percent in September

Cadillac globally sold 35,020 units in September 2017, maintaining a 16-month run of consecutive growth.  With these latest results, the brand remains on pace to surpass last year’s total of 308,718 vehicles sold. Year-to-date, sales are up 44,336 units compared to September 2016, totaling 256,613 units.

September year-over-year sales increased 1.1 percent in the United States. China continues to be a strong performing market where sales were up by 37.6 percent year over year, followed by significant gains in Japan, the Middle East, Israel and South Korea.
